2. Manufacturing

Wide variety of combinations

State-of-the-art machinery for modern production processes for extruded tubes and sticks

We offer a wide variety of options: we manufacture round and oval tubes in various materials and diameters for high-quality cosmetic products.

The raw materials for our plastics are bio-based. For example, we produce polypropylene from used cooking oil and wood waste, thereby conserving crude oil. As a result of these efforts, our products are compliant with EU Regulation 2025/40 PPWR.

Co-extruded tubes are extruded from pure polyethylene. For this, we use HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LDPE (low-density polyethylene), LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) or a blend of all three materials for a tactile effect. Single-layer plastic tubes are suitable for products that do not require specific barrier properties.

EvOH-coated tubes consist of three to five layers. The EvOH layer (ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer) provides an excellent barrier against oxygen, gases, solvents and oils. Co-extruded tubes are generally less permeable and more resistant to chemicals than single-layer plastic tubes.

- Polyethylene: high-density, low-density, linear low-density
- Polypropylene
- Post-consumer resins, r-HDPE and r-PP
- Chemically recycled materials
- Bio-based plastics
- UV inks
- Two-component or UV-curable coatings
- Pallets made from heat-treated wood in accordance with IPPC and FDC specifications
- Cardboard made from 100% recycled material

We use recycled materials (PCR and CRR) for our tubes as well as for our caps and closures. Since 2009, we have steadily reduced the need for new plastics by using approximately 15,000 metric tons of PCR materials in our tubes. In addition, standardizing our tubes and closure materials has made it possible to increase the proportion of recycled material. Our partnerships with numerous global environmental initiatives naturally also play a significant role in our resource-efficient, environmentally friendly production processes.

These include:
- Association of Plastic Recyclers
- EcoVadis Platinum Award
- Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
- Ellen MacArthur's New Plastics Economy Campaign
- UN Global Compact for the Sustainable Development Goals
- RecyClass
- HTP-Cyclos

3. Finishing

High quality and eco-friendly — screen printing, offset printing, digital printing, hot foil stamping

Sieb-, Offset-, Digitaldruck, Heißfolienprägung

When it comes to finishing options, TUPACK offers a wide range of possibilities to showcase your product in the best possible light. For decoration, we use UV printing inks and coatings that help reduce energy consumption and are applied in combination with appropriate protective coatings. Hot-stamping foils that have been specifically designed to work with our coatings and are recyclable help to maintain the recycling loop.

4. Quality

Top quality metrics

ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22716, ISCC+ & EN 15343

We aim to deliver high-quality products that conform with all the relevant environmental, hygiene, safety, health and legal requirements. And our success speaks for itself: over the years, we have received numerous internationally recognized certifications and awards from well-known companies.
